About Us
Green Country Abstract and Title Co., LLC is wholly owned by lifelong Cherokee County residents Bob, Jim and Harvey Chaffin. The residents of Cherokee County now have the option of working with a locally-owned abstract, closing and title company.
Our title plant is a state of the art computer data storage and indexing system. The plant generates data retrieval and printing for our experienced abstractors to review and finalize the abstracts. Green Country Abstract and Title Co., LLC utilizes halFILE™ Title Plant Manager.
The closing department uses SoftPro®, real estate closing, title, escrow and trust accounting software. We are an Issuing Agency for Chicago Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Insurance Company and Alliant National Title Insurance Company.
